With a recent past as a divided-up HMO, this 1930’s house in Kensal Rise was in a truly sorry state. It needed a total rip out, redesign and refurbishment to introduce a new sense of space (which it had in spades, it had just been hidden) and the kind of beautiful, bright extension that brings an airiness and elegance you can achieve in the style of lateral living a 1930s property can offer. In addition, this was built as a gas-free, eco-friendly and highly energy efficient property, complete with air pump, solar and PV panels.
